Submitting for Regular Books with Hooks
What we want, more than anything, is for you to land your dream agent,
which means you'll need an excellent query letter and attention-grabbing opening pages.
Submit your query and first five pages for Carly, CeCe, or a guest agent to critique on the show.
Please remember that if your submission doesn't get selected,
it's not a judgement on the quality of the work.
Carly, CeCe and our guest agents all have different criteria
and try to choose work that they can use as teaching opportunities.
Also, Carly and CeCe only have 10 minutes per query which
means they tend to focus on the things that will
improve your query and pages
as opposed to the aspects that are already working well.
Due to the high volume of submissions, we unfortunately
can't be in touch if you haven't been selected.
If you are selected for the show,
we'll email you to notify you.
We're currently looking at submissions sent in on the 24th of January 2022 for Carly or CeCe.
We're behind on guest agent submissions and have only looked at the ones submitted up until November.
If you submitted before then, you may revise and resubmit.
