Our Substack Newsletter
What is The Shit No One Tells You About Writing Newsletter?
A twice weekly newsletter that spun off from the publishing podcast The Shit No One Tells You About Writing. We want to give emerging writers like you an insider’s guide to the publishing industry so that you can write the book of your heart, get it published, and join a thriving literary community.

From the Trenches
We want to hear from you about your publishing journey!
Setbacks, obstacles, online stalking?
Have you been ghosted? Had a million agents offering representation?
Been arrested because of your Google search history?
Told a few fibs along the way?
Write an 800-1000 word essay telling us all about it,
including what you've learned along the way, what you might have done differently,
and what advice you have for other writers.
We'll pick one or two a month to publish!
